The Family Support Unit provides services that include transportation to and from family visits; medical, dental, and therapy appointments; supervision of family visits where ongoing contact/visits take place, one-on one work with children (in agency care); and assisting with the agency in all aspects where additional support services are required.
It is also our goal that our children and family spend quality time together to nurture their bonding, attachment and connection to each other. Unit staff advocate for the families that they work with and ensure that scheduled appointments are attended and completed.
The Family Support Unit offers to the public casual and contract work opportunities with flexible work hours through formal interviews and an orientation process. It is a great opportunity for people looking for extra work and/or getting involved with working with children and families.
