Ensuring children's safety and wellness

Anishinaabe Pimadiziwin Inc. advocates for the family and child wellness, it is only under extreme home circumstances the organization may take children into care as wards.

At Anishinaabe Pimadiziwin Inc., the Children in Care Program is guided by the values and teachings of the Anishinaabe people. Our work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving environment that nurtures their spirit and strengthens their connection to family, community, and culture.

This program exists to ensure that children and youth in care remain grounded in their identity as Anishinaabe. Whether through kinship placements, cultural teachings, or community supports, we prioritize approaches that honor who they are and where they come from. Our goal is not just safety-but healing, belonging, and the continuation of the sacred bonds between children and their roots.
